About the rosta...
As you can see, our rosta is fairly small at the moment, we believe in concentrating on a small number of bands at any one time. As the years roll by the growth of our rosta should hopefully reflect the growth of our label!
Other cool shit in the pipework...
The Ugly Truth About Ipswich
After three or four years of fundraising events CornDog Records will be involved in releasing a very special album documenting the alternative music scene in Ipswich. As a natural follow up to 'Grand Theft Ippo' and as a part of the larger 'Ugly Truth' movement expect big things and an album that will be cherished for years.
More smart releases...
Not wishing to queer the deal by giving away too many details, we hope to be releasing a retrospective of a certain local band's career, watch this space!
More Wax Please...
Plans are afoot to release a split 7" between a couple of very cool stoner/ rock/ metal bands. We'll give you details as soon as the contracts are signed and the release is scheduled!
Los Salvadores
Having come to our attention not long after their formation we leapt at the chance to put out the debut Los Salvadores album. Featuring their unique folksy punky sound the album titled 'Attack of The Clones' is a storming reflection of the sound and energy that has earned this band the reputation of being one of the hardest gigging and tightest rocking bands in the UK. We at CornDog Records are stupidly proud and excited to be releasing 'Attack of The Clones' as our first glassed and mass distributed release.

The Mayflys
Although not really on our rosta, or even really a band they don't have a home elsewhere so we decided to give them a mention here!
The Mayflys were designed to exist for around two weeks in the month of October 2005, the idea was to form a band with a huge group of friends, have a geat tour then split up. It may sound nuts, but with the 'flexible' lineup settling down a bit The Mayflys were shaping up to be one of the most creative and unique live experiences you have ever seen, and more funk than punk. As with a lot stuff in the music industry things didn't go quite to plan.
In the end just Andrew Culture, Mouldi and Buzz Grogan were involved and did one gig in Burgess Hill at the Junction, and one gig in Ipswich at the Steamboat. After that The Mayflys were joined by Max Shearer and went on to play at the legendary Drum and Monkey, and confusingly enough the huge Liquid NightClub in Ipswich, albeit tuned down to a frequency that only dogs and those with bowel complaints could appreciate.
After a bunch of nice gig offers the Mayflys have decided to gig occasionally but still will never practice.
